Preeclampsia is a disorder of pregnancy. Know the symptoms and trust yourself.  

In order to be an advocate for your own health and that of the baby you are carrying, watch for these signs and symptoms:

1. High blood pressure
2. Protein in your urine
3. Sudden weight gain
4. Swelling of the hands, feet, or face
5. Headache
6. Changes in vision
7. Dizziness
8. Nausea

Keep all of your prenatal appointments and use the following checklist to guard for the onset of the disease (this checklist prepared by the Preeclampsia Foundation).
